Teknologi.id - Zepeto is an app that lets you create a character out of your real picture. You can then make an emoji of your character and use it in chatrooms. Developed by Snow Corporation, the app is available to download from both App Store as well as Google Play Store.
It’s a reasonably popular app, with major user base in Asia, but has been gaining momentum in the US as well. However lately, several users have deleted the app, saying it tracks or records users.
One potential theory floating around is about static sounds from device’s speaker while using Zepeto, leading to speculation the app is recording users.
