VisTech Technology changed and so is everything. In visual technology, we witness how the movie change and how the game has changed itself. Through technology advancement, we can see the movie can become more realistic than we usually see. So how does the visual technology advance from time to time? Let's find out!

Visual Technology Game

Halo 2

Halo 2 Anniversary
Here you can see the difference between the visual between Halo 2 and Halo 2: Anniversary. On top of the picture, you can see Fleet Admiral Terrence Hood, leader of UNSC in 2004 while on the bottom, you can see him at the Halo 2: Anniversary that was released in 2014. As the technology advances, the visual technology is using what it called a motion capture. Using a real person as a base reference and later, creating a character based on a real person model.

Visual Technology Movie

Mark Ruffalo Hulk Motion Capture
Mark Ruffalo
Behind the scenes of making the movie of Marvel series, Mark Ruffalo was indeed playing Hulk. He wears a suit that later, the visual editor will create Hulk. Unlike previous movies where they need a costume of Hulk, this time, they just need someone to wear motion capture so the edit can go smoother. This can make the visual editing more efficient since they got the references and can edit it right away. Through applying this technology, the process of editing movie become more efficient. For editing purposes, now they just need to combine the special effect and visual effect to create a realistic one. Perhaps later in the future, we will see AI that has an advanced visual technology. Imagine like Serina or Cortana from Halo where the developer states that they are being made by a deceased person and able to fully transferred into AI. That will be cool, is it? Looking forward to seeing how the visual technology will continue to improve from this day on.
